Hi peter,
I agree that less can be more! The problem I had was that new members would keep asking the same questions over and over (e.g. which suburb to live in) so I am trying to better group previous conversations together.
That said, i agree that the structure of the forum needs more work.
I have had a dilemma over how the "melbourne events" section should work since we end up with, for example, a "sports" section here and then another "sports" section under "melbourne life". This seems like duplication but really one is meant for upcoming events and the other is not. I could merge the two I guess.
I will stew on this for a week or so and come back fresh and decide how to best improve the layout.
