hi heidi, you normally have to pay extra to be in a grandstand.
otherwise if you just get general admission, then you are just walking around the track (which is what i did). i think all the good corners have grand stands so you have to pay extra for them.
Also I know pit lane is VERY popular but you have to pay extra for that too.
