Fancy A Bit Of Detective Work?
#1
Hi All. Sorry but I'm a bit of an intruder here. My name is Andy and I'm in Sheffield, England. I need to solve a 30 odd year old mystery and I wondered if you could help. In 1972 my wife's brother came over to settle in Melbourne. He was 22 at the time and came with his new wife. He had been in a bit of bother with the law as a teenager and decided to turn over a new leaf in a new place. On June 10th 1974 he was dead. My wifes family got to know next to nothing about how and why except for some ( not very clear) info from the Salvation Army. His name was Graham, his wifes name was Dianne and a daughter was born in Melbourne called Julie. My father in law, recently went to his grave not knowing the facts and never having had any contact with his granddaughter. It would be nice if my mother in law and Grahams siblings did not suffer the same fate. Obviously the granddaughter may not want to be contacted (even if she's still there) and this I respect. Every method tried at this end over the years, to try and discover his fate has hit a brick wall. I'll try and get some more bits of info to tell you. Any help would be most appreciated. If I can help anyone with anything over here, just ask.

Thanks for taking the time to read this.
