I think it is going to be 43 degrees again on Saturday in Melbourne!!! eeeeek! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
I used to live in St Kilda. At least it always felt a bit better near the water. Where I am now, it rarely gets too hot. Usually a gorgeous sea breeze from the South Pacific kicks in before it reaches its predicted high - which is 28 tomorrow. If I'd been in Melbourne I would have been in an airconditioned hotel/motel by the second day of that big heat wave.
But I do love Melbourne. I didn't leave because I hated it. It was just more convenient for me to be up here for a while.
