Help! How To Get Bond Money Back :( - getbondback - 15-06-2011

Hi Guys,

I need help on how to get my bond back. I moved into a shared apartment with international students 7 months ago. I gave them 1200.00AUD as bond. I want to move out now but the international student won't return my 1200.00 bond.

Where do I go to complain and get my money back? I know the real estate agent won’t help me because I am not an official tenant. The same goes for consumer affairs in Victoria Australia. I feel so powerless and very much not protected <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />

The only thing I can think of is calling the police? What do I say to the police?

Help and advice need.

THANK YOU!

Did you pay the bond via bank transfer? You have to have something that proves that you paid it. Otherwise, you can't do anything.

By the way, that sucks, I'm so sorry for you... <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Sad' />
