What would be the best present/gift that i can buy that would be appropriate to remind of Australia for friends back to my home land? Im looking for something small and cheap <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' /> any ideas and also where can i get it from?

They sell these clothes-pin koala bears in packs of 12 or 24.. Basically it's just a koala bear that when you pinch it's back, the arms open and can be clipped onto anything. Everyone loved them when I brought them back to the states.

They sell all kinds of trinkets (the koalas, magnets, drink holders, shot glasses, keychains) at places like The Reject Shop and the $2 Store for, you guessed it, $2.

Those koala pegs sounds like fun. Can I use them to hang out the washing?

Hello Zoran,

There are heaps of Australian sites that provide the best present/gift, If you do a search there are a few pages full of present/gift sites!

I can only reccomend one that I've used which is epparelplace.com. Which do really lovely present/gift in leather (not real) hat boxes and fit with your description of wanting the gift to be classy and they do neutral colours too.

Thanks a lot.

John Robert
