Anxious Plus Size Girl Needs Shopping Help - Owlie - 28-06-2012 I am headed to Melbourne for the first time and would love to go shopping but I have been told that as a size 18 I wont't find anything to fit me. Surely there must be somewhere (without having to resort to condescending stores with names like big & tall or big & beautiful!). Please help I just want to be able to buy something lovely to wear from the fashion capital - even if it's a moo moo, as long as it was a trendy one. Thanks x Anxious Plus Size Girl Needs Shopping Help - masonburrell1975 - 31-05-2013 Whoever told you that must not know Melbourne's best kept secrets. Â Melbourne is not tagged as the most favorite city of Australia for no reason. Â The city is loved by all because of the endless shopping possibilities for anyone regardless of size and age. Â If you're quite embarrassed to enter stores with "Big" or "Plus" in it, I have here some better options for you that you would surely not mind entering: 1. Â My Secret - 226 Glenferrie Road, Malvern - offer sizes 16-26 2. Â Towanda - Shop 4, Driver Lane, 318 Little Bourke Street - sizes 14-24 3. Â Sarah Fashion - find them in David Jones Stores - sizes 16-28 4. Â Zeve - 42 Smith Street, Warragul, Victoria - sizes 14-28 5. Â Dream Diva - PO Box 207, Richmond - sizes 14-24 Â See, these are just some of the most notable stores I know that carry bigger sizes than usual. Â I'm sure there are a lot more that I may not know of. Â Exploring is fun. Â Go explore and enjoy. Â Forget what other people are going to say, appreciate yourself more, and of course, have lots of fun. Â Good luck on shopping! Â Â |
