CSIRO WeatherWall

Weather station located at Aspendale (on Eastern side of Port Philip Bay) with a fancy java interface giving current wind strength and direction, as well as a range of other parameters. It can also give a history of the day so far which can be useful. It does take a little while to download however.

Wow i would love to be there right now, it's freezing over here in England. Not liking the sound of your severe thunderstorms warning though.

Melbourne Weather Today - glen - 16-02-2007

hi bex! do you get much of thunder and lightening in the UK?

down here in Melbourne it is not that common. however up in Northern Australia it is just crazy. it is a real hot spot for lightening! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' /> great place if you like taking photos of crazy storms.

cheers, glen

Not that common to get thunder and lightening. We just get dull weather and rain :-)
