Back in Melbourne.
Went to see the Afghan exhibition and it was brilliant but less impressed with our museum.
I dont like knocking things in this lovely city but the museum is pretty disappointing.
Not a total mess but the zoology section is terrible.
I recall the wonderful dioramas of the old museum but now you just see hundreds of stuffed animals, very disappointing.
Younger folk might not know about the old dioramas but they were brilliant its a wonder the National Trust did not save them.
