The Green Grass Of Home. - paul4kner - 27-06-2008

I have done the impossible. All my friends said i would be wasting my time. From a desert to a lush green oasis.

Hopefully it will not die.And it wasn't watered at all from the hose. Our spouting fills a big 44gallon drum.

Paul

That was quick, have you had much rain there?

Looks like summer there <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

PZ,we moved in on Australia day this year. The previous tenants had Ducks and Chooks. So i think the soil had some great fertilizer in it.And it does seem to rain here more in Chelsea.

you can get some cheap water tanks from bunnings at the moment. 500 litre tank for about 59 bucks. they had them last week. i guess they may still have some in stock but you would need to be quick.
