Albert Park Run 2008 - Great Australian Run
The Great Australian Run provides an unprecedented opportunity to run on the same course at the same time as man regarded as the greatest distance runner of all time, Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie, as well as Australia's best, Craig Mottram and Benita Johnson. The Great Australian Run will start and finish in Albert Park and take in Melbourne landmarks such as the Yarra River, Flinders Street Station, the Tan and St Kilda Road. Up to 15,000 runners will be accepted in the run - on a first to enter, first accepted basis.
