Glen Waverly Area - Filip - 25-12-2008

Mary Christmas All,

Just got job in Glen Waverly.

Planning to move probably around Glen Waverly...walking distance to train station ...around 15 min.

Mt waverly also souns o.k.....my girls is just about to start school she is 5.

we would like to live in diverse suburb...safe...good parks and schools...price range rentals around average in Glen waverly.

Is it a big shortage of rentals in that area?

Thanks ,

Filip

hi filip, it is a nice area to live. anywhere in gw or mw would be nice. pretty safe. nice shopping centre at glen waverley. mount waverely, in my opinion, is a bit overrated in terms of pricing. it was always a very expensive suburb for some reason and i never understood why. gw is just as nice if not better. gw is slightly further from the city than mw but the shops in mw are pretty ordinary whereas the shops at gw are nice. also lots of nice cheap chinese restaurants at gw on kingsway.

all the best, glen

Thanks Glen,

I wonder if people with small kids can tell me about primary schools in GW.

I think that are 3-4 schools in the area, is any much better than others?

Mount view looks very good from the website.

Thanks,

Filip
