Hey this is Melbourne, how come (why) doan anyone talk about sport?
Maybe you are all out doin' it instead.
If so that's good.
Anyway what about Freddie Flintstone (Flintoff).
It has been said that he could not even walk into bowl without heaps of pain killing injections.
One would imagine the injections are not water.
They gotta be drugs of some kind.
And, loh and be old they are remarkable in effect.
Some may say performance enhancing!
And I am not knocking the Poms (can I say that?).
Heck (I wanted to write H*ll but the stupid filter su*ks) as sure as goggies are eggs the Aussies must be doing the same thing.
Is it just or right or what?
Hmmmnn what about a medical opinion from our own T Pot!

IMO, anything that is legal should be allowed in the game, simple as that... one day, genetic modification will be legal and games will be quite intense.

HA-HA... well chemists already have their own awards like Nobel prizes, maybe a new one for most medal winning performance enhancing substance.
I do not follow the cricket closely enough to put forward my own line up but I'd like to think that Shane Warne would certainly put those legendary Don Bradman clones on their back feet... Viv Richards should probably get a placing.

Any substance that increases stamina would assist in any sport really... I can't think of a single sport that wouldn't benefit in some way.

Well PeterJMelb, I'm not so sure that the outcome would as you envisioned; the best batsman against the best bowler does not necessarily equal to centuries and there are still environmental issues involved, especially with cricket where the games are long and at the mercy of the elements.

A computer simulation sounds like really really hard work... and we would probably be dealing with the real thing by the time the clone simulation is done.
I don't know about the Chemists, PeterJMelb however, Geelong beat Hawthorn by a single point.

Old school parachute pants for all!!... seriously though, fairly sure I heard, on the radio, Michael Phelps, who recently lost his world title to a fellow wearing the new fandangled suits, say that the man took his title and not the suit. There could be a great deal of psychology at play with the swimmers wearing a suit that they think is supposed to make them swim faster.
