I'll make up a list of other grand utopia dwelling elitist LNPers that have a grudge against Australian workers, pensioners, the sick and the unemployed.

Quote:Now let's dump Abbott... who started this LNP sinkhole in the first place just like I predicted before the 2013 election.

Then we can boot Eric Abetz out sometime after that. And that screaming banshee Michaelia Cash.

That'll do for now Smile
Prepare to see both Turnbull approval ratings and the polls soar ahead if he has the political courage and wisdom to do so. Well done Liberals if he can pull it off. Affirming Alpha dog status as the *leader* of a united coalition by pulling the conservatives into line. When the conservatives see they actually have a solid chance of keeping their high paying jobs - they'd retreat and lurk back into the shadows where they belong

Cutting perks for retired MPs is actually a good start. If we remove a lot of these entitlements post retirement the sitting MPs will actually be more pro active in keeping their jobs as their future is less secure. This is a feeling all Australians are feeling but they don't right now because they know they have a comfortable life even after losing the election. Stripping this is one way of keeping MPs stay in touch with the constituents they are supposed to represent. Too bad this bill will never pass I think.

Turnbull needs to win his party first before he can govern the country. Anybody's guess if he will succeed or not, if he does, it'd be Shorten's nightmare.

You're misreading my post ALoy... I totally agree with you that you think it's a storm in a teacup, and your world is a big world, everything is A-OK, nothing is wrong and all is calm.

These are the EXACT things I expect you to see so thanks again for affirming that you are indeed sitting in the eye of the storm oblivious to the havoc surrounding your bubble. :th

Well done Conservatives for shooting your own foot by trying to carve out a "sphere of power" the way America system is happening right now. Winning power is the easy part. Keeping it is another.. Just look at the spectacular fails that is POTUS right now, and he's in office for 3 weeks.

This guy has single handedly saved the newspapers business model. Tongueeace:

Good grief , Melbourne is a big city full of city folks - expect to have city problems - too many bludgers, too many green politician lovers, too high prices for housing, too few jobs,  but it's OK we gots the AFL and the WAFL what can be wrong with that?

I went to Melbourne once - didn't like it.

But lots of folks do like it, and that's their choice, I just wish they were a little more accepting of non Melbourne folks.

What didn't you like about it? I guess the weather?

I'll go there tomorrow if I could just to get away from this heat over the next few days here in struggle street.

40's all weekend :ras:

Well Done Conservatives - POWERZONE - 10-02-2017

Quote:Hi Power.

Normally we here in Melbourne get as many hot days as Sydney.

This year is an exception.

No days over 38 so far, normally had two or three by now.

Nice cool change arrived about 3PM today.

Several cool days forecast.

The humidity in Sydney must be killing you!

Yes it is.

To be fair I'm actually referring to Western Sydney - which gets hotter and far more humid than Sydney itself.

The "experts" put it down to the western basin trapping the hot air.

I put it down to the level of hot air released from the disproportionate number of turbo charged cars with extractor headers and 3 inch exhausts as well as 4WD's, trucks, aircraft, heat reflective cement cities and farting livestock :ras:

The GOOD thing about NSW is that it is a wall tween Vic and Qld.

Notice it is therefore not the only good thing.

Heh Heh - I'm doing a PZ - havin fun!!

Well Done Conservatives - Aloysius - 14-02-2017

It was Frankie Howerd

I prefer John Clees - so "Don't mention the Germans"

actually we have several Victorian guys that join us at golf during the winter - none of them appear to have two heads - and we look forward to their return each year.

A "well done" Conservative after another painful session in the Sydney repair centre :bee:

Well Done Conservatives - Aloysius - 24-02-2017

Yet another pro Coalition post PZ - can't accuse you of any kind of bias :Cowboy:

Well Done Conservatives - POWERZONE - 24-02-2017

Coalition? Just what circle of friends does this bloke have? Certainly not the Government!

Well Done Conservatives - Aloysius - 25-02-2017

That's true!

Ever thought of commenting similarly about Kevin Rudd?

Or maybe Wayne Swan?

Perhaps Graham Richardson?

Well Done Conservatives - POWERZONE - 25-02-2017

Why would I want to comment about Kevin Rudd in a conservative thread?
