He is a self confessed liar and an A-Grade back flipper. Doesn't pass off as "rightness" in my view.

In a space of 8 years Tony Abbott goes from saying...

  • climate change is crap to
  • climate change is real to
  • climate change is good

Climate change is good??? Is that why Tony Abbott as PM put in place a "direct action" scheme at taxpayers' expense to reduce climate change which still operates today despite his criticisms of his own policy?

Nup. He is full of last nights' dinner.

Hi PZ.
So far none of the climate change evangelists have got anywhere near a correct prediction! (20 years trying).
The Abbott's speach in London is much closer to the "real" truth than anything Flannary and Co can dream up.
Flannary!
Now that's a man full of BS and fake news.

The Abbott speech isn't anything remotely like the truth. It's an uneducated guess governing a political statement.

What Tony Abbott should have said all along is "I don't know whether climate change is man made or not".

Not say... it's crap, oh no, it's real, oops it's good shit.

He is now a laughing stock because he keeps changing his mind.. in other words, he has no idea.

Hi PZ.
As I said (Abbott) is much closer to the bullseye than ANY of the nasayers.
As I said witness Flannary. The no water in dams man, supposed to happen 10 years ago. Doh, that arrow fell a metre short of the target.
Witness the Inconvinent truth man, the one who flies around telling people to not fly around.
The same man who lives in one of the most energy intense homes in the whole of USA.
Witness Turnbull, selling coal to the two worlds best polluters, and presiding over energy starved Australians.
Went to the energy giants with a lettuce leaf. What a man! My hero! Usless left wing prikc!
Abbott no laughing stock, he speaks for all sensible Australians and said it in front of the world.
BTW changing your mind is not a sign of weekness.
Of course the opposition leader has never changed his mind! Doh!

So everyone seems to be predicting that much of Aus will face energy shortages this coming Summer.

Offering of bonus to people who switch off an AC at peak times!
That of course is to save electricity for the inner city greens who of course are responsible for the energy mess we are in.
Notice that the green inner wedge are not offering to be the first cab to have their energy cut in times of high demand with low supply.
They should be the first to be energy free! You would think that would make them even more saintly!

Now what about the poorer people who cannot afford to install and run an AC?
Surely they should be in line for cheaper energy, as they do more for the environment than ones who switch off!
That is, they did not buy a device that used heaps of energy to make it in the first place.
What about them?

Don't you just love the BS that pollies come up with, trying to solve the problem they produced in the first place.

Fire the rap ists energy companies and:
Bring back the SEC. Along with the Gas and Fuel.

Abbott doesn't speak for all sensible Australians Peter.

If he did he would still be the PM.

Anyway, you can have him. I don't think too many people will be wanting him after the next election.

Back on Chewsday :)

Flight diverted after woman discovers her husband is cheating on her

A Qatar Airways flight had to make an emergency landing after a female passenger found out her husband was cheating on her mid-flight, reports the Hindustan Times.

The unidentified Iranian woman reportedly used her husband’s fingerprint to unlock his phone while he was asleep, before becoming incensed by what she found on the device.

Flight attendants were unable to calm the woman as she repeatedly hit her husband, causing the pilots to make the decision to make an emergency landing in India on 5 November.

Hi PZ.

Huge reserves of water found in Wonthaggi just east of Melbourne.
The site has been known to scientists now for about 6 or 7 years. (They have labled it a desal site cos it is without salt even though it is right at the seaside!
Alas they (the scientists) have not yet found a way to get said water to ordinary Melbournians.
Everytime they try to release some water a mysterious force of electricity fails to respond to their commands.

By a remarkable coincidence the huge font of water is pretty much adjacent to the world's largest font of usable coal.
Alas the Green shtis have pissde in the pockets of the Labor government and caused a short circuit in this process as well.

Hi PZ.

Can we climb these lava tubes to get to the ice? Can we then slide the ice down to feed to our Dan's desal plant?

The Greens are like flees on a dog's back, usless and irritating.

The Greens are the tail wagging the dog, and at least they are at the stinky shtiy end.

Dr. Manny Alvarez: Trump's healthy as a horse, America (whether you like it or not)

"The full, detailed description of the president’s health given by the Navy Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson shows that for a 71-year-old male, the president is in great health and probably will be for years to come.

I am appalled that the liberal media, in their follow-up questions, were trying to find any flaws they possibly could in Dr. Jackson’s report. Questioning not only normal findings, but trying to allege that the White House doctor may not be telling the whole truth? How dare they!"

Hey heh it's a question of beliefs not of facts.

Science says Trump is OK to be President, political enemies including the liberal press say he isn't.

Fake news anyone?

Butler blasts 'backroom buffoonery' in the Labor party and calls for reform

"Labor's federal president Mark Butler says the party needs to stop "treading water" and give ordinary members more decision-making power to keep them engaged."

"Outgoing ALP president Mark Butler has hit out at the "backroom buffoonery" of "factional warlords" in his own party, in a speech at a left-wing think tank in Melbourne last night.

Mr Butler said a shrinking membership base of 50,000 meant Labor could no longer claim to be "mass-membership" party.

He said ordinary members needed to be given more input and power, including the ability to vote for the party's leader. "

https://www.sbs.com....alls-for-reform

Hmmmmmmmmmmm got to agree with Mr Butler!!
