Hello Glen.

Same with me I have the old G version.
I can get a signal in the street at the front of my place.
About 30 meters.
As far as I know no one has latched onto it yet.
That is an advantage of the weaker versions.

I only use WEP security, plus only known MAC numbers allowed/enabled.

Best wishes.

Hello Glen.

You are correct WPA is better than WEP.
When I said I only use WEP, I meant that I could only be bothered to use WEP! Follow!
However I couple that with the extra device of MAC address.
In a nutshell every wireless device has a unique code. Called MAC.
The idea is to instruct the wireless modem to accept only the code you tell it about.
Hence the modem rejects ALL other wireless devices whether or not some one cracks the WEP / WPA codes.

Clear as mud?

Best wishes.

Hey Glen.

To Big Mac or to not Big Mac is the question!
Will the new Children's Hospital have a McDonald's in the foyer or not?
Anyway I vote yes.

Best wishes.

Hello Glen and All.

Well the pole whether McDonald's should be allowed in the foyer of The Children's Hospital is going well.
So far two Yes and one Abstain.

Anyone else care to vote?

Best wishes.

I vote yes, but on one condition - none of this pasta and apple slices business. It's fatty cheeseburgers or nothing!!

Hello T Pot.

Nice one!
Your vote counts as TWO cos you are a member of the Health System
Therefore you know what you are talking about.
And double cheeseburgers all round for all Ambos.

So it's now action time in Ambo Land?

Best wishes.

I had a little cousin in hospital and the only thing they could get him to eat was chicken nuggets from Maccas. So 10 points to maccas for keeping him going.

Hey Glen.

Your little cousin eating Maccas at hospital!
That definately counts as "Yes" vote.

So far we have ...... I think that's 5 Yes and 1 abstain and 0 No.

Hey Jane and Era cast your vote all welcome.
Heck you can even abstain as Ibis has!

Best wishes.

Hello Glen!

Well I have been away for a few days and now I see changes to the site.
It seems the original first page has disappeared? Yes? No?
And I like the "instant" formatting of the posts.
Looks good!
Well done.
What else have I missed?

Hi Peter,

I did a lot of reshuffling of things around. But everything should still be there..somewhere :o

Hey there Glen!

I just looked at the section called "Today's top posters".
It gives the correct date at the bottom.
But it says I have posted 6 posts!

This post is in fact only the second!

What gives?
Maths are not your strong point?
