He is a self confessed liar and an A-Grade back flipper. Doesn't pass off as "rightness" in my view.

In a space of 8 years Tony Abbott goes from saying...

  • climate change is crap to
  • climate change is real to
  • climate change is good

Climate change is good??? Is that why Tony Abbott as PM put in place a "direct action" scheme at taxpayers' expense to reduce climate change which still operates today despite his criticisms of his own policy?

Nup. He is full of last nights' dinner.

Hi PZ.
So far none of the climate change evangelists have got anywhere near a correct prediction! (20 years trying).
The Abbott's speach in London is much closer to the "real" truth than anything Flannary and Co can dream up.
Flannary!
Now that's a man full of BS and fake news.

The Abbott speech isn't anything remotely like the truth. It's an uneducated guess governing a political statement.

What Tony Abbott should have said all along is "I don't know whether climate change is man made or not".

Not say... it's crap, oh no, it's real, oops it's good shit.

He is now a laughing stock because he keeps changing his mind.. in other words, he has no idea.

Hi PZ.
As I said (Abbott) is much closer to the bullseye than ANY of the nasayers.
As I said witness Flannary. The no water in dams man, supposed to happen 10 years ago. Doh, that arrow fell a metre short of the target.
Witness the Inconvinent truth man, the one who flies around telling people to not fly around.
The same man who lives in one of the most energy intense homes in the whole of USA.
Witness Turnbull, selling coal to the two worlds best polluters, and presiding over energy starved Australians.
Went to the energy giants with a lettuce leaf. What a man! My hero! Usless left wing prikc!
Abbott no laughing stock, he speaks for all sensible Australians and said it in front of the world.
BTW changing your mind is not a sign of weekness.
Of course the opposition leader has never changed his mind! Doh!

So everyone seems to be predicting that much of Aus will face energy shortages this coming Summer.

Offering of bonus to people who switch off an AC at peak times!
That of course is to save electricity for the inner city greens who of course are responsible for the energy mess we are in.
Notice that the green inner wedge are not offering to be the first cab to have their energy cut in times of high demand with low supply.
They should be the first to be energy free! You would think that would make them even more saintly!

Now what about the poorer people who cannot afford to install and run an AC?
Surely they should be in line for cheaper energy, as they do more for the environment than ones who switch off!
That is, they did not buy a device that used heaps of energy to make it in the first place.
What about them?

Don't you just love the BS that pollies come up with, trying to solve the problem they produced in the first place.

Fire the rap ists energy companies and:
Bring back the SEC. Along with the Gas and Fuel.

Abbott doesn't speak for all sensible Australians Peter.

If he did he would still be the PM.

Anyway, you can have him. I don't think too many people will be wanting him after the next election.

Back on Chewsday :)
