The 2008 Turkish Cultural Connections Festival honours the 40th anniversary of the signing of the bilateral agreement between the governments of Australia and Turkey. The festival will be staged at the Queen Victoria Market (between the market sheds and the food court) and includes a packed program of live performances and folk dancing, food and market stalls,live music and DJs, guest speakers, children's entertainment and much more! The event is presented by the Moreland Turkish Education and Affairs Centre and sponsored by the City of Melbourne.
