I have decided to move back to Mebourne (Yes! silly me for ever moving out...), and am planning to do so early in the new year (hopefully).

Ideally, I would like to do house sitting for 6-12 months starting from around mid-February. I'd say I have top scores for house sitting, including my age, status, professional background, habits, credentials, references, security clearance and all that.

What is the best way to find a house to sit? I know there are a couple of dedicated forums on which I would need to register and pay; someone has mentioned that real estate agencies often receive requests for checked out / police cleared house sitters
