Well isn't May the month when we all stop saying happy new year ? lol

To all my forum friends - My wish for you is  - 2020 vision for the whole year - oops couldn't resist

Happy New Year Everyone....Stay safe and enjoy your night.

48.9 officially and around 52 on the ground where I was at the time.

38 at 9pm, and I had a 3am start the next day

Subterranean man cave saved me on the night though. Max 25.5 with no air con running. Zero smoke ingress.

I think bunkers in bushland will be added to the Australian building code in the not too distant future.
I would say ScoMo is learning more now than in his entire political career.

Meanwhile the Murdoch empire want subscribers to add to their prophets for telling us the govt is doing a good job.

I'll take the Guardian over that shi
t any day of the week.

Independence... gotta love it Smile

Australia should follow suit - regardless of who wears it.

Why do Iranians need to shoot down civilian airliners?

Seems to be a tad extreme even for those benighted folks.

Quote:Well the right royal crisis seems resolved.

This from comments about it. Written in to the Daily Mail:

Meghan's back home having gained worldwide fame and a fortune. Harry's lost his title, his friends, his country and his family.

Meghan 1 Harry 0.

He is so whipped and if he falls flat on his face sucked in.

I think how they went about leaving or wanting to leave was done all wrong and to want to step down from their senior royal duties but still want to live rent free in one of the royal homes.

If I was Grandma I would have told them to stick it.

Seems to me they've made the right decision and extended their life expectancy in the process.

Any complaints? Meet the press Smile

Do woke folk beieve in unity and fraternity particularly on our national day?

Or are they more interested in division and hand out for freebies?

So anyway - Happy Australia day to all Australians and all those who wannabe Australians, regardless of race, colour, creed, gender, faith, age, and political persuasion.

As some has said - the best is yet to come!!

That's an attitude for progress.

The alternate attitude is that of fear and compounding fear - to what benefit?

Hope not MY - vive la differences!! :notworthy:

Hey Guys

Happy Valentines day from last Friday  :Rose:  :Rose:  :Rose:  :Rose:

Hope everyone has been well and had a lovely day.

Hottest summer here Smile

'arkin oath - Winter is becoming a luxury extra here.

Even the alarmists have given up on warming - you know that's a good indicator - it's only climate change now and thats a motherhood statement - climate is a living thing and thus always and ever changing be it up or down

It's still hot here - so that's more up than down.

Kinda funny how the denial about the climate comes from the same folks as the denial about wage theft.

Yet, they are both happening on the record Smile

When you have a global pandemic on your hands the relative value of those weary global warming arguments appear somewhat diminished.

What? zero emissions by 2050?

Save the planet ? Bah Humbug :angry2:  :angry2:

When you have a global pandemic on your hands the relative value of those weary global warming denialists appear somewhat diminished.

What? No new coal stations? Pffft
