We have had some brushtail possums in the roof for a little while but last night they were going crazy! They smashed a roof tile by throwing it off the side of the house and made a hole in the roof! Now we called the landlord who sent a guy to do a quick patch up of the roof and block the hole. But this evening I heard the possums trying to get out. I could hear them thumping away up there. I am not sure whether they found a new exit route or not. I think they are pretty strong so they probably pushed up some more tiles. I wonder if they will still be here tomorrow! I hope they find somewhere else to hang out!! <img src='http://www.melbournechat.org/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

Has anyone else had any experience with possums in the roof?

Cheers, Glen
The possums managed to break the roof open overnight. The maintenance man had put some metal sheeting to block the hole but those pesky possums ripped it off and headed out for the evening stroll as per usual. I wonder whether the attempt to lock them in will discourage them from coming back! i hope so!
