Hello, I'm a Russian citizen, I want to move to Melbourne, but not sure if I wanna stay there forever, be cause I've never been to Melbourne before.
So the question is how can I come to visit the city for a while, and do something useful to pay off my flight tickets and accommodation?
Is there any way besides tourist visa?
Thank you, I know about official procedures and I want to apply for 175 subclass visa, but this will be a permanent residence. But all I want first is to come to check out the place if it worth coming at all!!! The procedure is a way too lengthy besides it takes a lot of effort, time and money, and no guarantee that visa would be granted. So how can I move to a different location entirely changing my life without even being there before???? so, is there any other way to come to visit???? tell me please

not sure why you would jump to permanent residency. There are temporary work visas i think. They should be easier to get than PR.
 Yes, there are temporary work visas and lots of them! If you are Russian just look it up in Google or Yandex in Russian. You'll find many opportunities!Â
