It is truly amazing when you realise that the place you enjoy living in now, housed some truly amazing people in history. William Symons was awarded the Victoria Cross for his bravery at Gallipoli during World War I. I was wondering whether anyone else in Melbourne has researched the history of their house or suburb and found out something interesting. There must be some fascinating stories out there.
